24 hrs to take action.

r1 A key moment to secure funding for children.

Hey PAOV,
There is only 24 hours left to take action. We need your help to support the millions of refugees around the world who find themselves living in countries or circumstances that mean their children cannot attend school regularly, or at all.

Take action now to tell the Canadian Government to send a strong message at the World Humanitarian Summit in Istanbul by committing $75M to education in emergencies. The World Humanitarian Summit is a key moment to secure funding for children affected by emergencies, like conflict or natural disasters, to continue their education, wherever they end up.

This is the first ever Summit of this kind and a key outcome will be the launch of an Education Crisis Platform, with a ‘Breakthrough Fund’ reserved just for education in emergencies. We need the Canadian Government to show leadership by making a strong commitment to this fund.

Send a message to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Foreign Minister Stéphane Dion and Minister of International Development Marie-Claude Bibeau, asking the Canadian Government to commit $75M to the Education Crisis Platform. Thanks for all you do,

Dominic and the Global Citizen Team
