Northampton, Massachusetts is now a blue community!
Nova Scotia often appears on the surface to be less exciting than BC, but upon closer inspection our coastal home is full up on beauty, scandal, and surprises.
On Wednesday, following Nova Scotia’s provincial election, Solidarity With Alton Gas Resistance (SWAGR) hosted the... first Truckhouse Solidarty Tent in Halifax.
Less than a month ago, a delegation of Pacific Islanders embarked on a journey to visit Canada’s tar sands in Alberta.
On June 3rd, in Amqui Québec, people of all ages stretched their canoes and kayaks across the waters of the Matapedia River to say no to the rail transport of tar sands bitumen from the Alberta Tar Sands to the Port of Belledune, New Brunswick.
The Council of Canadians London chapter had an information table at an event featuring the Water Brothers yesterday.
The Council of Canadians Northumberland chapter was interviewed by Northumberland 89.7 FM about a recent gathering in Mexico City of civil society and labour activists who came together to talk about the imminent renegotiation of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
The Council of Canadians Terrace chapter has had their open letter on electoral reform to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau published in the Terrace Standard.
The Council of Canadians South Niagara chapter participated in a Blanket Exercise on Parliament Hill this past Friday (June 2).
