We've got a banner drop, solar community tour, and Volunteer Action night this week!

Next week is going to be action packed and we need your help for three exciting events.
TODAY, we need volunteers to help us smile and wave at passersby at our Save the Walbran banner drop!
On Sunday, join us for a tour of T`Sou-ke’s Solar Community. And next Wednesday is Volunteer Action night where we will be doing a banner-build for our Stop Kinder Morgan campaign!
Save the Walbran Banner DropWe need 10-15 volunteers to help with our banner drop at the pedestrian overpass near Uptown mall. We need smiling wavers at the cars below the bridge!

T’Sou-ke Solar Community Tour Join us for a tour of one of the world's most innovative and important solar communities! Just down the road from Victoria, the T'souke First Nation has launched it's own solar revolution, and now draws much of its energy from entirely renewable sources.
We have chartered the Community Action Bus to take people to Sooke and back. The cost of transportation will be $10 per person round trip (please contact us if cost is a limitation).

Volunteer Action Night: Banner-Build
This month, we are doing a banner-build for Volunteer Action Night. We need your painting skills next Wednesday (June 29th) at 5:30pm to help us make a giant “Reject Kinder Morgan” banner for actions at the upcoming Kinder Morgan pipeline review meeting in Victoria.

We host our regular Volunteer Action nights on the last Wednesday of every month from 5:30 to 7:00pm at our Victoria office (#202, 3 Fan Tan Alley). Snacks are provided.
