PAOV — Statistics Canada has requested the country’s largest banks and financial institutions hand over the personal transaction data of 500,000 randomly selected Canadians without their consent. Data will include everything from bill payments to ATM withdrawals, and even account balances. If you believe that your personal information shouldn’t be released without your consent, add your name.
