STATEMENTS OF SUPPORT:

Support statements are pouring in. Yesterday, 200 members of the Canadian music industry — including musicians, record companies and media members issued a statement in support of Unist'ot'en and Wet'suwet'en. Musicians that have signed the solidarity statement include Joel Plaskett, Owen Pallett, Peaches, Shad, Tanya Tagaq, Matt Mays, Michael Feuerstack and Sarah Harmer, in addition to members of Arkells, PUP, July Talk, U.S. Girls, No Warning, the Beaches, Wintersleep and more
They write, "We call the Canadian government to account. As musicians, we know a PR campaign when we see one: since 2015 Justin Trudeau has promoted a message of Truth and Reconciliation and professed the goal of building meaningful nation-to-nation relationships, but his government’s actions don’t align. Meaningful nation-to-nation relationships are not made at gunpoint."

See the full statement of solidarity and list of signatories here. https://musiciansinsolidarity.blogspot.com/p/statement.html
Similar statements of support have come in from Indigenous nations, labour unions, faith groups, community groups, environmental NGO’s, musicians, and university departments. You can read the statements of support here:

If you are part of a labour union, academic department, or community group, we encourage you to organize to issue a similar statement in support of Wet’suwet’en jurisdiction and governance.
The Likhts’amisyu are one of the 5 Wet’suwet’en Clan Groups. Since the last Ice Age we have governed ourselves on the ancestral territories without the influence of other Wet’suwet’en Clans or other Nations.
For thousands of generations the protection and occupation of our lands have been central to how we derived our authority and sustained ourselves.

Today, the Likhts’amisyu are publically mobilizing to reassert our authority on our lands. We have shown unwavering support to the Unist’ot’en since they’ve started their campaigns to stop Pipelines and Mining on their lands.
