Your support has been incredible! So many of you have already stepped up and made a donation in support of our fight to defend free expression. We have almost reached our $5,000 goal. In the fall, we will be heading back to court to challenge the continued secrecy around what we believe is illegal spying by Canada’s security agencies, and if you haven’t made your donation yet, there’s still time!

There is more at stake than this single court case. This is about government accountability and our right to question those in power—a right that is at the core of free expression and democracy.

We will continue this fight to preserve our fundamental rights and freedoms. We need your help to challenge the redactions in the documents we have obtained and to remove the gag orders that are still silencing the witnesses in this case. And we need your support to challenge the SIRC ruling that there was no wrongdoing on the part of Canada’s spy agencies. We believe that the report itself clearly shows that illegal spying and information sharing has taken place, and we must hold these agencies accountable.
