As we look toward September, we've got two things on our minds:1) Narwhal tank tops
2) Vacation!
Let's start with No. 1 first. See those flashy tank tops Carol and I are wearing in that picture? We've got just 12 of those left in women's small, medium and large sizes. We'd love to get them out into the world to the first 12 people to become members today. Sign up as a monthly member for any amount and we'll pop you one in the mail. (Have we mentioned that our 750 monthly members make our independent journalism possible every single day and we love them more than anything?)
On the second point, we've been slogging away at our desks all summer and have decided it's time to take a quick breather before September hits us like a two-by-four. After all, our goal at The Narwhal is to take a step back from the daily news grind and provide a more thoughtful and insightful look at our relationship with the natural world.
To do that, sometimes you just need to get off your computer, ya know? So we're going to take a break from the newsletter next week and return at full power on September 4th. In the meantime, swing by our website or our Facebook page if you need to satisfy a craving for The Narwhal (we'll still be publishing occasionally).
