Premiering Saturday — Global Goal: 'Unite for Our Future — The Concert'

For the past few weeks we’ve called on governments, philanthropists, and corporations to ensure that COVID-19 testing, treatments, and vaccines are available to everyone, everywhere. To celebrate what we’ve accomplished, Global Goal: Unite for Our Future — The Summit and The Concert will premiere across the world this Saturday.
This special combines the power of music as a motivator of change and unity with incredible stories of the scientists at the frontlines of developing treatments; funding pledges; and appearances by some of the world’s best known artists, comedians and leaders.
Don’t miss it! Hosted by Dwayne Johnson, The Concert will feature performances by Shakira, Coldplay, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber and Quavo, J Balvin, Chloe x Halle, Yemi Alade, Christine and the Queens, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Original Broadway Cast of HAMILTON with Jimmy Fallon & The Roots, J’Nai Bridges with Gustavo Dudamel, The Los Angeles Philharmonic and YOLA (Youth Orchestra Los Angeles), For Love Choir.
There will also be appearances by Chris Rock, Hugh Jackman, Kerry Washington, Charlize Theron, Forest Whitaker, David Beckham, Salma Hayek Pinault, Billy Porter, Diane Kruger, Antoni Porowski, Ken Jeong, Naomi Campbell, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, and Olivia Colman.
Canadians can tune into the Summit at 5 p.m. ET on CBC Gem and the Concert at 8 p.m. ET on CBC, CityTV, CTV, Crave, and Global TV.
