Conflict transformation tips and free workshop

CFSC staff Matt Legge wrote a popular blog post on the topic of what influences our reactions to mass protests and was interviewed on BBC Radio about it.... His other recent blog posts are COVID-19: The Polarizing Impacts of Uncertainty and one with 7 tips drawn from the controversy around the "cancel culture" letter published by Harper's Magazine. He also wrote an article on white fragiliy for openDemocracy. This is part of CFSC's strategy of sharing peace-oriented thinking on controversial topics.

To further help spread these skills, we plan to offer another session of our popular peace workshops starting in the fall. 100% of participants so far said in an anonymous survey that they recommend these workshops! Video available from Living the Declaration event

You can now watch video from the recent online event on adopting and implementing the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, where we are now and what needs to be done. The event featured Kukpi7 Judy Wilson (Secwepemc) from the Union of BC Indian Chiefs, Romeo Saganash (Cree) who helped draft the UN Declaration, and CFSC staff Jennifer Preston.
