Help Us Choose the Winner of the Global Citizen Prize: Cisco Youth Leadership Award

Now in its third year, the Global Citizen Prize: Cisco Youth Leadership Award honors a young individual that has contributed meaningfully toward the goal of ending extreme poverty. The award, sponsored by Cisco, includes a $250,000 prize paid to the organization through which the individual has achieved impact.
We’re incredibly excited to announce our three accomplished and inspiring finalists, one of whom will win this year’s award:
- Christelle Kwizera is a young female Rwandan mechanical engineer and social entrepreneur. At 20, she founded Water Access Rwanda to solve the water crisis while creating employment for youth.
- Ryan Gersava founded Virtualahan in 2015 with the mission of breaking down employment barriers for people with disabilities and other disadvantaged groups; using the equalizing power of technology.
- Suhani Jalota is the Founder and CEO of Myna Mahila Foundation, an organization that is using data-driven mobile technology to make health care products and services accessible to all women by creating safer physical spaces for women to seek health care.
While we’re deeply inspired by all three of these finalists, only one can be the Cisco Youth Leadership Award winner. Voting closes on Nov. 24 at 11:59:59 p.m. GMT — help us decide the winner by voting here.
