We’re
getting excited here at the BCCLA virtual office.
Tomorrow’s a big day. You can take an action that will support hundreds of high school students to learn more about the issues you and I care about. You can support them to have resources and tools to create structural change in their communities.
Every year, the BCCLA brings together over 100 high school students to tackle issues ranging from anti-oppression to their rights as young workers.
For 16 years, we’ve worked with educators and youth experts to provide students with the tools necessary to take action. They’re given resources to push for structural change in their communities.
Our conference is happening virtually in February 2021, and we need $5,000 to make it happen.
This is where you come in. With your support, we can raise the money we need to bring our Youth Conference to life.
On Tuesday, December 1, the BCCLA will be participating in Giving Tuesday. Giving... Tuesday is a worldwide giving initiative that takes place after Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
One of our donors, Andrew Beckerman, is offering a matching challenge!
Make a gift on Giving Tuesday and it will be matched one-for-one up to a maximum of $2,500. The match will only be available for 48 hours, so you’ll have to act fast!
