This is a test r1

Hi Friend,

Today’s the big day! It’s Giving Tuesday. Today and tomorrow, your gifts are being matched one-for-one.

With your support, we can bring the BCCLA’s Youth Conference to life.

Every year, the BCCLA brings together over 100 high school students to tackle issues ranging from anti-oppression to their rights as young workers.

We work with educators and youth experts to provide students with tools to create structural change in their communities. Students will attend workshops on anti-oppression, workers’ rights, and digital rights. They will get to meet students from all over greater Vancouver, and build communities across multiple schools. They will explore their role in creating social and political change.

We need $5,000 to make our virtual conference happen in 2021.

This is your chance to take an action that will support hundreds of high school students to learn more about the issues you and I care about.

One of our donors, Andrew Beckerman, is offering a matching challenge!...

Here’s what Andrew said about why he supports the BCCLA:

“While the scales of justice should rest in equal balance, sometimes this equilibrium is not present. The BCCLA is there to make sure that those scales are balanced for all residents of British Columbia regardless of socio-economic factors and any other categorization that divides us into different categories of 'importance.' We should all be equal before the law and the BCCLA helps to actualize our equal rights."

We’re so grateful for Andrew’s support, and we’re so excited that he’s matching your gifts!

Make a gift today and tomorrow, and it will be matched one-for-one up to a maximum of $2,500. The match will only be available for 48 hours, so act now to double your impact!

How often have you heard that youth are the future? This is a lot to put on young shoulders, and this is our chance to support them to have tools and resources to create meaningful change.

I hope you will make a gift now, and bring this wonderful event to life. These students deserve it.

With excitement and hope,

Amy Gill (she/her)
