Signatures to End the U.S. Blockade Against Cuba Are Needed

On behalf of our Victoria Friends of Cuba committee, we would like to remind those of you who may or may not be aware of a petition that started in May and will end at the end of September in response to the homicidal US blockade of Cuba.
The petition, which will be presented to the House of Commons by MP Niki Ashton, will ask the Canadian government to apply pressure on the United States to lift the world's longest-running economic, financial, and commercial siege against Cuba.
We strongly encourage everyone with their family and friends to sign it. It doesn't take much to accomplish this. Let us demonstrate our strong opposition to such a cruel blockade, which no peaceful country like Cuba should ever have to endure, especially at a time when the pandemic is wreaking havoc.
