Dear Friend,
Just making sure you saw our other email today about this matching opportunity!
Today is your last chance to give to our Giving Tuesday campaign to support our upcoming lawsuit against prolonged solitary confinement, and have your donation matched one for one for up to $2,500.
Make your donation today to have it matched!
DONATEThis month, we look an important step forward in our fight to end solitary confinement in prisons. We filed a lawsuit to stop the wardens at federal prisons from unlawfully placing people in long-term solitary confinement.
The government claims that long-term solitary confinement has been banned. But wardens at federal prisons continue to isolate people in long-term solitary confinement by using lockdowns and “restrictive movement routines.”
Peoples’ rights are being violated, with devastating consequences for their physical and mental wellbeing. Solitary confinement is... debilitating, dehumanizing and must stop now.
Our generous donor, Andrew Beckerman, has offered to match all donation made between yesterday and today matched for up to $2,500. That means for every dollar you donate, you can make double the impact.
Give today to be part of the change. Join us in calling for the end of prolonged, indefinite solitary confinement.
Sincerely,
Amy Kim (she/her)
