Dear PAOV,
The movement to protect old-growth rainforests is gaining momentum every day, and this is the time to turn up the heat on decision-makers through social media and the fax lines!
Twitter is the most direct line of communication to our ministers. Sometimes letters and emails go through their offices before they reach the ministers. With Twitter, they’ll see your message right on their cell phone at any time of day.
Will you take a few minutes to tweet to the premier and minister of forests and demand they keep their promise to protect old-growth forests?
Not on Twitter? That’s fine, we’ve also got a one-stop-shop to send a fax for old-growth! You don't need a fax machine. The goal is to flood the fax inboxes of your MLA, Premier John Horgan and Minister Katrine Conroy to demand they step up on this issue!

Amid the public health crisis we’re in, intact ecosystems are in dire need of protection — and we don’t have another several years to delay. We need to put chainsaws down and halt logging in endangered forests while we figure out a long term plan for old-growth. It’s time to protect old-growth and rebuild the forest industry for the 21st century and create a forest economy that prioritizes Indigenous rights and local jobs.
P.S. Please share your action with your family, friends and on social media.
