Thank you to Keira and CFSC is hiring
As those of you who attended one of the events CFSC hosted last year know, they were organized by Keira Mann. Keira started with CFSC as a summer Program Assistant in 2015. After finishing her undergraduate degree at Dalhousie University she went on to join our small staff team as the Assistant Coordinator, Programs and Events.
Keira supported many pieces of CFSC's work including organizing our online events. She has now decided to go back to school to study graphic design and so finished her service work with CFSC in December. We wish Keira all the best in her future career!
CFSC is now hiring for the position of Assistant, CFSC Events and Indigenous Rights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Indigenous rights work. Popular event videos now available
Last year was the 90th anniversary of Canadian Friends Service Committee. To celebrate we hosted an event each month called Get to Know Thee, Friend.
Each event gave a particular Friend the chance to share the story of how they came to be involved with Quaker service work. The series included current and past CFSC members, staff, and donors. Videos of each session are available at https://QuakerService.ca/GetToKnowThee
