PAOV — A kitten rescue and nursery in Ontario is at risk of closing because of a zoning requirement. Woodstock Kitten Nursery and Rescue takes in pregnant cats and cares for them, before finding good foster homes for the cats and their kittens. Petition starter Chantelle is urging the local government to approve the zoning change so the nursery and rescue can continue providing a safe home to pregnant cats and their kittens. We are asking for your signature of support to show the extreme importance our rescue has on its surrounding community. A group of people are trying to shut us down, this group is lead by a person who has never spoken to us, all the progress we have made in the past two years is at risk because of a group of misinformed people. The truth, In the past two years we have rescued and adopted out hundreds of cats to great homes. We provide educational opportunities on our Facebook page, and are hoping to do so in our facility, when we are able to open. We have plans to offer community programs and connect our services out to other community partners. Animals are an important part of human connection and mental wellness! Whether you have adopted, fostered, volunteered, donated or just followed our journey on Facebook we are asking for your support. We need HELP! We urge you to act now to save our rescue, the animals in our care depend on it. Do not let these people devastate more animals.
