Dear Friend,
This year, the BCCLA turns 60. Thank you so much for standing with us, year after year.
We are continuing to educate the public on their rights,
especially our next generation of advocates. This year, we
launched our new Digital
Privacy Rights for Youth project, which informs youth on their
rights concerning their personal electronic devices like cell phones
and laptops.
Our work wouldn’t have been possible
without supporters like you. Friend, with your support, we
can have the resources to stand up on your behalf - to litigate
important cases, advocate for systemic solutions through interventions
and law reforms, and provide accessible educational resources.
We want to do this work as long as necessary to uphold civil liberties and human rights. This holiday season, will you make a year-end donation, so we can continue this important work for years to come?
DONATE TODAYYour donation helps the BCCLA:
- Fight to end Immigration Detention on a federal level;
- Litigate and intervene in important cases concerning your privacy rights;
- Continue our work in police accountability and law reform by participating in critical discussions such as the Lethbridge Police Service Inquiry;
- Develop and update our educational resources, such as the Arrest Handbook, so more people can know their rights when interacting with law enforcement.
We want to be your vehicle for change. Thank you for fueling our drive.
