Dear friend,
At the end of last year I asked you to help us fund the organizing, campaigning, and activism we need to do to continue our fight for social, ecological, and environmental justice in 2023.
AND DID YOU EVER!
With our fundraising goals met, I am full of hope that we will meet the ambitious goals we’ve set for the year ahead. And it is all thanks to you.
To those of you who gave a loved one the gift of social justice in December, I thank you for building our movement.
To those of you who made your first gift to Council last month, I thank you for joining our community.
To those of you who, when asked, made another gift among many, I thank you for your enduring solidarity.
You and I both know that I will need to ask for your support again this year and probably more than once. That’s the nature of being a financially independent organization – everything we do is sustained by you.
But for now, let me pause and bask in your generosity. Thanks to you, 2023 is off to a great start!
