On June 21, 2023, National Indigenous Peoples Day, Eagle Spirit Nest Community Association, Iron & Earth and RenuWell Project partners are collaborating to host a "Summer Solstice Community Conversation about Energy Diversification".
This free event will take place from 10 AM - 3 PM at the Taber Community Centre and includes an optional site tour to the Barnwell Solar Project site, a luncheon presentation about the RenuWell Project which is repurposing oil & gas wellsites for solar, and a fun, family-friendly interactive engagement session to discuss energy diversification in Treaty 7 territory.
