Canada MUST ban bee-killing pesticides!

Ban Neonics Now

Hi PAOV,

There is growing evidence that neonicotinoids (neonics), a dangerous class of pesticides, are killing bees and other wild pollinators. But a new four-year scientific study of 800 peer-reviewed papers on neonics has conclusively shown that these pesticides are a serious risk to bees, butterflies, birds and earthworms.

In fact, the review conducted by 50 independent scientists stated that neonics and fiprinol (another deadly systemic pesticide) are so toxic that they pose a “global threat to biodiversity and ecosystem services.”

The European Union moved last winter to severely curtail the use of bee-killing neonicotinoids. In Canada, we have already had tens of millions of bees and other wild pollinators die from neonic poisoning. Even Health Canada has confirmed that "current agricultural practices related to the use of neonicotinoid treated corn and soybean seed are not sustainable."

By taking action today you will be joining thousands of other Canadians who are standing up and speaking out for the health of our bees and wild pollinators.

We can win this fight.

Please join me in calling for the federal government to completely ban neonicotinoid use in Canada NOW.

Take action today >>

For the bees,
