SumOfUs r1 ...

Paov,

12 million views! Our campaign to get Doritos-maker PepsiCo to adopt a responsible palm oil policy is going viral, forcing the company to defend its mediocre position to journalists and consumers all over the world. We've recorded a response video to their response, but more on that later.

First, an update on what we've all achieved together this month:

Our Doritos palm oil ad has just hit a whopping 12 million views. That's more than three times the views of the 10 official finalists in Doritos' CrashTheSuperBowl ad competition -- combined.

We also plastered campaign ads on the sides of public buses in the home town of PepsiCo’s UK & Ireland HQ -- two whole weeks of this baby driving around town!

And last week, we delivered our huge people-powered palm oil petition to the bigwigs at PepsiCo. Over 500,000 SumOfUs members have demanded that PepsiCo change its global palm oil policy, so we decided to make sure that Pepsico feels the pressure right on its doorstep. See below for pictures!

Doritos’ parent company, PepsiCo, is pretty angry about this. In fact, it says that our video is a "public relations stunt, focused on fiction rather than facts."

Ouch! That deserves a response, don't you think? Well, we recorded a video reply.

The snackfood giant's PR machine continues to roll out its own spin claiming that its palm oil policies are 'effective'. But together we can get this response video out to spell out what's still missing in PepsiCo's policies:

Step 1: WATCH our response video.

Step 2: TWEET it @Doritos and @PepsiCo so they know where we stand.

Step 3: SHARE it on Facebook with your friends.

Congratulations on an awesome campaign, we really took a bite out of Doritos this month!
