Cinema Libre Acquires The Police Reunion Tour Documentary!

Friends: We are excited to finally announce that CAN'T STAND LOSING YOU: SURVIVING THE POLICE is coming to theaters in March, starting with the AMC 25 and the Village East In Manhattan on March 20th! The documentary is based on Andy Summers’ acclaimed memoir, One Train Later, features Summers, Sting and Stewart Copeland, and tells of the band’s meteoric rise, headline-grabbing break-up, and reunion twenty years later, through rare archival footage and Summers’ personal collection of photographs. - Robert Williams, the rebel and underground artist that put lowbrow art on the map, is launching a new show in Los Angeles at the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery at the Barnsdall Art Park. Kicking off the two month exhibition of his work is a FREE screening of ROBERT WILLIAMS MR. BITCHIN' on February 22nd!
- If you are not familiar with the 'Angola 3,' three African American men who were falsely accused of murder. While in prison they were held in solitary confinement for decades. We wanted to share Amnesty International's campaign to help Albert Woodfox, the last of the three men still in prison. Albert spends 23 hours a day isolated in a small cell — four steps long and three steps across — with no access to meaningful social interaction or rehabilitation. In 1972, he, Robert King and Herman Wallace were accused of murdering Brent Miller, a prison guard. Since then, Albert has been fighting to prove his innocence in a legal process tainted with flaws. No physical evidence ties Albert to the crime. Brent Miller's widow has said she believes that Albert is innocent. The Federal courts have overturned Albert's conviction three times!
Now that an appeals court has again ruled in Albert's favor, his legal team has filed for bail. Tell Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal to ensure that Louisiana stops standing in the way of Albert's freedom. It is time for him to walk free.

When Astrid (Marie Caldera), a professional therapist who is struggling to find meaningful friendships, starts having an affair with her patient Céline’s husband, it puts a strain on an already difficult relationship with her son, David (Yoann Denaive). Meanwhile, Céline (Céline Rajot), a retired prostitute content with living a domesticated life, befriends David when he tries run away from home by booking a flight through her travel agency. However, when David discloses the affair to Céline, she must decide how to deal with the betrayal and lies.

When Edmond (Michel Bouquet), a man quickly facing the loss of his independence, is placed in a care facility after taking a bad fall, he discovers that his son has sold his apartment. She takes him into her home to allow him the measure of freedom he deserves. Through this new living situation they develop a bond, which helps them move forward with their lives. However, the unlikely friends must face the consequences when Edmond is reported missing.
