Earlier this year, hundreds of you pledged your support for independent Canadian journalism by supporting our Kickstarter campaign to clean up Canada’s energy debate.

Thanks to your support, DeSmog Canada was the only Canadian news outlet in attendance at this month's United Nations climate change conference in Lima, Peru.

For 2015, our goal is to build a solid base of DeSmog Canada Champions, who provide the monthly stability required to keep cutting through the spin clouding Canada’s energy debate.

In Lima, Canadian negotiators tried to fly below the radar, but our reporters were there to shine a spotlight on the government’s inaction on curtailing greenhouse gas emissions.
