Urgent Action on Climate – Global Lobby Week 1-7 June 2015

The ITUC has designated 1 – 7 June as global lobby week to support a climate deal that will save jobs and give us a fighting chance to limit the temperature rise to 2 degrees C or less.
The draft text of the UN climate deal, which will be agreed in Paris at the end of the year, is with national governments now. We invite affiliates to co-ordinate meetings with their government, opposition parties and MPs during global lobby week. A climate briefing will be distributed in the coming weeks, and we will ask you to report back on your government commitments and assess their support for climate action.
