We invite you to explore a new website that brings together climate justice news and analysis from critical perspectives "on the road to Paris".
The climate justice movement is organizing in anticipation of the upcoming United Nations COP21 events in Paris this December.
This website brings together many of the leading activist intellectuals within the climate justice movement, to discuss strategies in advance of the COP21 - how should we prepare for Paris, what should we do in Paris, and what about the post-Paris era that will soon open up?
The need to organize is not based on alarmism, but on science.
Climate science tells us plainly that tipping points and planetary boundaries which threaten human existence are being surpassed with every passing moment. This is leading to ecological and social catastrophe without precedent in human history.
More and more people realize the expansive and destructive logic of the capitalist system is incompatible with survival. But present political and economic institutions are not able to acknowledge or cope with these threats.
Ordinary people need to act.
