Ontario is indiscriminately dropping a herbicide linked with cancer on its pristine forests. It endangers local residents and wildlife while devastating entire areas.

Some critics have compared Monsanto's VisionMAX to Agent Orange. Join SumOfUs supporter David Nagy and tell Ontario to stop spraying its forests with a deadly herbicide.

A,

Ontario is dropping a Monsanto-manufactured herbicide on its pristine Boreal forests that devastates vegetation and has been linked to cancer, birth defects, respiratory problems and miscarriages.

Monsanto's VisionMAX literally kills almost every green thing it touches. Ontario is freely dropping... the herbicide on its forests from planes. One New Brunswick resident fighting the same toxic product said "I see no difference between this and Agent Orange."

VisionMAX is dangerous to our health and the aerial application method is indiscriminate and reckless. It is being dropped on wild blueberry plants even though the product's own safety label warns of deadly consequences if ingested. That's why we are promoting SumOfUs supporter David Nagy's petition to Ontario's Minister of Natural Resources and Forestry.

Will you sign David's petition and tell Ontario to drop Monsanto's dangerous, reckless VisionMAX herbicide?

Putting aside the severe risks to human health, the threat to wildlife is immeasurable. Animals are sure to ingest berries or foliage sprayed with the herbicide and are at grave risk of getting sprayed themselves from random aerial bombardment. And of course the advertised use of VisionMAX is to kill vegetation—the food sources wildlife depend on.

In no universe is this a good idea. In fact, that's why so many countries have banned VisionMax's active ingredient, Glyphosate, and other Monsanto products: Austria, Bulgaria, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Japan, New Zealand, Peru, South Australia, Switzerland and others. SumOfUs supporter David Nagy finds it inconceivable that Ontario still considers this a reasonable approach to a non-problem. And we agree with him.

Join David and tell Ontario to stop spraying Monsanto's VisionMAX on Ontario's forests.

Thanks for all that you do,

Angus and the rest of the team at SumOfUs
