Big news this week: Green Party leader Elizabeth May made waves by becoming the first major party leader to endorse our crowdsourced pro-Internet action plan. Our small team are delighted to see decision-makers respond positively to Canadians.

This week we’ve also launched a powerful new tool to enable people in all 338 ridings to tell their local candidates to support our action plan. The response has been phenomenal - in less than 36 hours, over 18,000 letters have been sent, and we’ve already seen over 110 candidates from many different parties sign on to support the Internet.

Thanks for speaking out and urging politicians to do the right thing! We say this a lot at OpenMedia, but we really couldn’t make this work without you!

And that’s not all… next week, we’ll have some exciting news on the C-51 front that we can’t wait to reveal. Be the first to know by following us on Facebook and Twitter today.

It’s working! Because thousands of Canadians are speaking up, over 110 candidates have already declared their support for the future of Canada’s Internet. Don’t miss out: send your message right now!
