... Inside sources tell us that Big Telecom’s lobbyists in the U.S. could destroy the open Internet by sneaking dangerous new powers into a gigantic spending bill that has nothing to do with the web.
This would be an amazingly underhanded way for telecom giants to take away Net Neutrality and impose their Internet slow lane plan on all of us. It's wrong and we can't stand for it. You might not live in the U.S. but many of your favourite websites do - so this move really threatens Internet freedom globally.
But decision-makers in the U.S. Congress can stop this. If enough of us speak out, we can convince them to oppose any bill that would threaten the open Internet.
