About Threats & Tribes News & Resources
Dear Supporters,
Did you see my stunt in Yosemite National Park that launched Survival’s Stop the Con campaign?
Today is the 125th anniversary of the park and I need your help. As we celebrate this beautiful place, I ask that you take a moment to remember the people who protected the land first and how they were treated when it was turned into a park. I wish I could say this story is in the past, of a different time, and we know better now – but I can’t.
Tribal peoples are still being illegally evicted from their ancestral homelands in the name of “conservation.” Only if we work together can we inspire conservationists and activists to create a new approach to conservation. Let’s show them that people around the world want tribes to be protected along with their land, instead of evicted from it.
Will you join us?
There are 3 ways you can help make a difference:
1. Watch and share my film
2. Submit your Stop the Con picture to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Tribal peoples are better at looking after their environment than anyone else. Only with your help can we create a new and innovative conservation that breaks from the Yosemite legacy and helps tribes and their lands thrive. Thank you!
Sincerely,
Tesia
