Imagine being told that you could have your job on the condition that you tear up your union membership card and publicly step on it as you walk into work.
That's exactly what warehouse owners in India who handle only PepsiCo products did to workers who dared to form a trade union.
They did more: workers were harassed, assaulted by company goons, and eventually sacked in large numbers.
The struggle for justice has gone on for more than two years, with PepsiCo refusing to do its bit to ensure that these workers' right to join a trade union is respected.
The International Union of Food workers (IUF) has launched a major campaign called PepsiSqueeze to put pressure on this giant transnational company. Please take a moment to send off your message of protest - click here.
