We are six days away from the Canadian Federal Election, the Libs and Cons are neck and neck and the future of Canada is up for grabs.
Our anti-Harper attack ad was rejected, first by CBC, then CTV and now by GLOBAL, after having negotiated the purchase of $10,000 worth of timeslots. We were told to remove the spitting on the flag shot — we refused to comply (see the Press Release we put out this morning).
So now we are giving up on commercial TV and turning to the Internet and to our followers. We want as many voters as possible to see the ad. It’s already been seen by over 300,000 people on YouTube and we’re hoping for a million by Oct. 19th. Share this video with everyone you know on social media, email or by word-of-mouth. Send it to the ones you love and the ones you hate (feel free to send it to your favorite Conservative MP, we’ve enjoyed their reactions) – let’s make it a million!
Last election, the voter turnout rate for young Canadians 18 – 24 was 38.8%. Let’s get the youth fired up and let them know that they are the future. Let’s work together and increase that turnout to 45%. The only sure way of saving our country from four more years of Harper and his Cons is a fired up youth!
