PAOV – There's a new petition taking off on Change.org, and we think you might be interested in signing it.
I am working on a project for next year with the theme the “Monarch Butterfly" since is a phenomenon between Canada and Mexico regardless borders or politics, but I just find out they are an endangered species with the risk of extinction, because on their fly from Ontario to and from Mexico, they have to stop to eat in USA and the pesticides they are using are killing the plants they eat!
This is the largest migration on the planet and is seriously despairing a few years ago there were more than 50 million and now is less than 2 million that make it to Mexico, the UN designated in Mexico 8 sanctuaries that were provide work and tourist going to enjoy the phenomenon now is less and less
Now we are changing our top message to "Save the Monarch Butterfly" and make awareness of this tragedy and to share the support to the alternative proposal from a group of environmental specialist from Mexico gave the 3 Presidents, Obama, Harper, and Pena Nieto 2 years ago Mexico February 2014, in how to "Save the Monarch Butterfly" but nothing is been done!!! and the solutions is so simple and doable.
The project is to enforce a free pesticide corridor from Ontario Canada all the way to Michoacan Mexico along and on the sides the highways or mayor freeway, protect the plant they are eating and where they leaving the cocoons.
Will you help me to voice this claim I am not and activist, but I can see who this will affect our future of our kids.
