URGENT: Kinder Morgan just started risky exploratory drilling off B.C.’s coast -- for the Trans Mountain tar sands pipeline.

With final hearings on the pipeline starting TOMORROW, we need to remind Trudeau that this pipeline will never get built.

The fight against the disastrous Kinder Morgan tar sands pipeline just got a massive boost: B.C. announced that it formally opposes the project.

It's a massive blow to the Texas pipeline giant's plans -- but the pipeline is not dead yet.

Even though the government has come out strong against the project, Kinder Morgan just began exploratory drilling for the project late last week off the coast of Burnaby.

We need to urgently stop this pipeline and our best bet is Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who has the final say on the project.

Let's tell our new Prime Minister that this pipeline will never get built.

Will you call on Justin Trudeau and his Cabinet to put the Trans Mountain pipeline to bed once and for all?

Tomorrow, the final National Energy Board hearings on the Trans Mountain project are starting. And even though an ever-growing number of First Nations, municipal governments, British Columbians and now even the provincial government all oppose this project -- the NEB will still likely rubber stamp it.

Kinder Morgan is so sure of this fact that it has already started exploratory drilling.

Justin Trudeau has promised to overhaul the NEB approval process and "put some teeth" into it, but it looks like the Trans Mountain pipeline won't be subject to the upgraded process.

Luckily, the National Energy Board doesn't get the final say -- Trudeau's Cabinet does.

So let's make sure they stand on the right side of history. Let's remind the new Liberal government that we're watching to make sure they keep their promises on climate, Indigenous rights and strengthening the NEB -- and that we won't let them quietly push this terrible project through.

Let's stop a pipeline, shall we?

Tell Trudeau to join First Nations, British Columbians and Christy Clark's government and say no to Kinder Morgan's Trans Mountain pipeline.
