It’s been another busy week here at OpenMedia, especially after Monday’s announcement from Canada’s Trade Minister that she will be attending the Trans-Pacific Partnership signing ceremony in New Zealand on February 4th to sign Canada on to the TPP. In the meantime, millions of people across the globe who oppose the TPP have been deliberately circumvented by negotiating rounds and excluded from any real consultation.
That’s why it is crucial that we show just how many people are against this costly and irresponsible deal. And this week we’ve created a tool to help you do just that. You can now message your trade minister to tell them: “Do not sign the TPP!” while there’s still time.
If you haven’t already, please add your voice or share our Don’t Sign the TPP petition. We need to make the loudest possible call against this costly, Internet-censoring deal, so take action now!
