The TPP threatens the things that matter most

Back in January we commissioned a poll that showed two things about the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP): few Canadians know what’s in it, and the more they learn the less they like it.
Now we’ve prepared a major public awareness campaign to rally people to reject the TPP before it’s too late - but we need your help to reach hundreds of thousands, or even millions of people across Canada.

The new Liberal government inherited the TPP from Harper and they’re conflicted. Many know that it could undermine their “real change” commitments and they have promised to consult Canadians before making their final decision.
The problem: corporate lobbyists and big business groups are pressuring them to ratify the TPP, and we need a people-powered movement to counter them.
There are so many reasons to oppose the TPP, but the public doesn’t know about it. The powerful series of online ads will raise awareness about how the TPP would impact all of our daily lives, and help build a movement to oppose the deal.
As we raise public awareness we’ll rally people to participate in the consultations and speak out to the Ministers whose work is most threatened by the TPP - like the Minister for Climate Change and the Environment - and have the influence to stop the deal.

The TPP is dangerous, costly and outdated. It threatens everything the Leadnow community cares about - a strong democracy, a fair economy and a clean environment for all generations.
