PAOV,
When I’m thirsty, I go to the sink and fill up a glass of fresh water within seconds – and when I need to use the restroom it is just a short walk away…
These everyday needs may seem simple for us, but for the 2.4 billion people lacking access to a basic toilet and the 663 million people using unsafe drinking water, it’s NOT.
Now more than ever, the world’s poor need your help, and we have the opportunity to improve the lives of millions.
Last year the Dutch government committed... to provide 30 million people with toilets and 50 million people with clean water. This is an incredible commitment, but it’s one that that requires a plan to be effective.
On this World Water Day, remind the Dutch government of their commitment to provide water and sanitation to the world’s poor, and encourage their plan of implementation.
