We made it happen. This week, we crowdsourced your concerns about the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and displayed them on a Jumbotron TV screen outside the opening round of cross-country consultations on the TPP in Vancouver, Canada. The hearings will make a portion of the pre-study being undertaken by the Canadian Standing Committee on International Trade.
While our Meghan Sali testified in front of the Committee, we were making sure concerned Canadian citizens had their say outside the hotel where the hearings were taking place. Here in Canada and around the world people are struggling to get their voices heard, and we will continue to make sure decision-makers have no choice but to listen to Internet users around the world raising a loud, global call against the TPP.
