This weekend, hundreds in Vancouver surrounded the Kinder Morgan terminal in Vancouver on the land and the water. This bold move was part of a global wave of resistance to the fossil fuel industry -- with tens of thousands of people from Australia to Germany to South Africa staging mass mobilizations targeting the world's most dangerous projects.

Ordinary people across the world are setting the example for courageous action to keep fossil fuels in the ground. It's time for the government to follow. That’s exactly what we’re calling on federal leaders to do with the People’s Climate Plan.

As the government launches local climate consultations across the country, we have a once in a generation opportunity to speak up for bold climate action in Canada.

By showing... up at local consultations organized by our MPs, we can push for a national climate plan that aligns with science, builds a 100% renewable energy economy, and is grounded in principles of justice -- and deliver that message directly to MPs. Watch to find out why this is a historic moment and how you can join a national consultations near you:

We now know there are at least 12 consultations happening soon -- just next week, communities in Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Ottawa, Montreal, Thunder Bay, Fredericton and beyond will show up and speak up for real climate action.

We will be there to push him, and his government, to be as bold as the courageous people who took action on the land and the water this weekend.
