Every girl deserves the same chance as her brothers.

Hey Global Citizen,
I’m generally a pretty happy person. But a few things make me angry in this world - and one of them is seeing myself or my female friends discriminated against because of gender. It’s shocking that it’s 2016, and yet half a billion women can’t read. Girls account for 75% of all new HIV infections, and more than 150 countries still have laws that differentiate between men and women. Today, 63 million... girls are out of school. Click here to send an email calling on world leaders to attend the Girls Education Forum to get girls in school.
Global Citizen is joining forces with the UK’s Department for International Development to invite businesses, world leaders and governments, including Canada, to London on July 7th. When they come, we want them to agree a concrete plan of action to get every girl in school and learning - no matter where she’s born. But we need everyone to agree to implement this plan. Click here to call on leaders to attend the Girls Education Forum. Your voice could help to transform the lives of the 63 million girls denied education. For girls everywhere, Odette, Global Citizen and CHIME FOR CHANGE team
