Give children access to education

r1 75 million kids in crisis
View in browser Hey Paov,

Around the world, schools are being targeted by extremist groups hostile to education. Why? Because kids who are out of school are more vulnerable to their manipulation and do not have the tools to fight back.

Kids in emergencies face real threats to their safety and well-being. Disturbing new statistics show rates of child marriage among refugee girls have more than doubled from... 12% to 26%.

They need world leaders to help.

We need to get these kids back into school, yet only 2% of humanitarian aid goes to education. In May at the World Humanitarian Summit some world leaders made commitments to launch the Education Cannot Wait fund for education in emergencies.

Now we need you to call on Germany, Finland and Kuwait to join these countries and make multimillion dollar pledges to the Education Cannot Wait fund this September at the Global Citizen Festival.

We can’t continue to leave these vulnerable kids behind.

Yours for learning,
