Watch Canadians React to Our Provocative Billboards in New Viral Video
Dear PAOV,
Over the last month, Animal Justice Canada has run 68 billboards in Vancouver and Toronto, with more to come in Victoria. The billboards contrast the extreme suffering endured by animals for food, fashion, entertainment, and research with the fleeting... and trivial benefits to humans.
Today, I’m so excited to share with you our new viral video showing Canadians’ reactions to the billboards. Here are some of the comments:
- “I’ve never seen anything like it.”
- “It definitely caught my eye.”
- “It’s hard to imagine what they’re going through.”
- “I didn’t know that they still do this today.”
- “Just because it’s being done doesn’t mean it’s okay.”

This inspiring video has already been viewed over 40,000 times on our Facebook page in just over 24 hours, amplifying the important messages on our billboards. The video is also a one-stop overview of many of the practices to which we subject animals for the sake of food, fashion, entertainment, and research.
