Stop glyphosate campaign update
Earlier this month we asked you to support an urgent action calling on the European Commission not to re-authorize to glyphosate, the pesticide that the WHO recently said is probably carcinogenic.
Thousands of you did - and our thanks for that.
Now the European Parliament has weighed in on the debate calling for a 7 year re-authorization under strict conditions of use. The pesticides industry wants the maximum extension possible - 15 years.
The IUF and its allies remain committed to a global ban on glyphosate. We must keep up the pressure on the European Commission.
