The second Nova Scotia Peace and Friendship Alliance meeting happened Saturday 04June again in Sipekne'katik (Indian Brook). I went up with friends from the Ecology Action Centre and was pleased to again see strong representation from Nova Scotia chapters at the meeting...

Liberals give up parliamentary majority say on electoral reform recommendation
The Liberal government has stated that it will give up its majority within a House of Commons committee that will be struck to recommend an alternate voting system.
