Chelsea Handler is hosting the 2016 Global Citizen Festival in NYC's Central Park. She released this video calling on the Italian Prime Minister to pledge to end hunger. She even face-planted in a bowl of spaghetti to prove her point.
Join Chelsea and Global Citizens around the world by taking a photo and tweeting a message to the Italian Prime Minister asking for his support to end hunger.
As Chelsea explains, an estimated 795 million people worldwide are hungry — and millions more don’t get the nutrients they need to live happy and healthy lives.
We can change this. When people have access to the right food for today, enough nutritious food for tomorrow, and sustainable food resources for the future, they’re able to live hunger-free lives.
Italy, next year’s chair of the G7, has the opportunity to come to our festival to discuss his plan for lifting 500 million people out of hunger.
Take action now and tweet Prime Minister Renzi asking him to make a bold political and financial commitment to end hunger.
