Support South African winery workers fight for their rights
Robertson Winery in South Africa's Western Cape denies workers their basic rights while praising the 'invaluable contribution of dedicated farmworkers and their families'. The company refuses to recognize or bargain with the union representing the majority of its workers, preferring to intimidate and harass union members and representatives, and will not allow the union access to workers on its suppliers' farms, on many of which conditions have not substantially changed since the end of apartheid.
If you have not been able to respond to our previous appeal, please take a moment to support these workers and their union in their fight for justice -
