On Monday, September 12th, a room of Winnipeggers took part in a consultation on electoral reform as part of the Minister of Democratic Institutions, Maryam Monsef’s, country-wide tour.

Yesterday it was an announcement that Quebec will be putting an end to health accessory/user fees by early January (full detail will be available on 28 September).
Another stunning story in the Toronto Star today, revealing that top environment officials in the Ontario government knew that clearcut logging in Grassy Narrows territory would increase mercury levels in fish even as the province refused a request by the First Nation for an environmental assessment of the province’s ten year logging plan for the area.
This week the review panel for the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act (CEAA) launched dates for its public consultations along with its website.
