Next Monday, October 3rd, is our second discussion night of Fall 2016. The discussion will focus on the actual ideas of Karl Marx and they developed from a philosophical critique of idealism into an economic critique of capitalism. Understanding these ideas is at the core of understanding what socialism actually is. Is Obama's Affordable Care Act socialism? Was FDR a socialist? There are many who would say yes. Please join us to discuss the root of these ideas and how they can be applied to better understand the development of human society.
