Animal Justice will intervene in high-profile B.C. appeal
A court has granted Animal Justice permission to intervene in a Vancouver Aquarium lawsuit that tries to silence Vancouver Aquarium Uncovered—a film critical of confining whales and dolphins in tiny tanks. The dangerous lawsuit could shut down animal advocates who expose hidden animal cruelty through undercover investigations, films, and videos.

Federal government kills animal cruelty bill
Prime Minister Trudeau and his cabinet ministers voted down Bill C-246 this month, an important animal cruelty bill that would have helped bring outdated Canadian laws into the 21st century. It's a heartbreaking setback for animals, but compassionate Canadians are not giving up on the fight against animal abuse.

Justice for the victims of pig truck rollover
A truck carrying 180 pigs rolled over as it approached Fearmans Pork slaughterhouse this month, injuring and killing many of the pigs. The survivors were shown no mercy, left to suffer without shelter or vet care, and marched across the parking lot to be slaughtered. Please sign our petition askng the Ontario SPCA to charge Fearmans with animal cruelty.
