In July, world leaders will meet in Germany – and we’re calling on them to live up to their promises.

Hey Paov,
We believe in a better world. A world where a young girl can live her dream and go to school. Where a father fleeing war can offer a new life to his family. Where children can grow up healthy, and go to bed with food in their stomachs.
And believe it or not, there is a plan to make this world a reality. In 2015, 193 countries agreed to work towards 17 Global Goals to tackle... poverty, inequality, and climate change.
Yet two years later, the most powerful countries in the world aren’t doing enough to achieve these goals. Click here to call on G20 governments – including Canada – to live up to their promise and create a world where no one is left behind.
In July, leaders from G20 countries will meet in Hamburg, Germany. Representing two thirds of the global population, and 80% of global GDP, the decisions made will have ripple effects on billions worldwide – including the poorest men, women and children amongst us.
World leaders have the opportunity to live up to their promise, and make investments to combat poverty, gender inequality, and other sustainable development priorities at the upcoming summit.
In the lead-up, it’s up to us to pressure leaders to make this a reality. Over the next few months, our advocacy colleagues will be working around the clock to build political relationships, and identify key moments when we need your voice to get life-saving, world changing decisions made.
From adding your name to a petition, to emailing or tweeting leaders – we can’t achieve anything without you. Click here to sign the petition, and we’ll present your signature to key G20 leaders ahead of the summit in July. With hope and determination,
